Collections, Returns and Exchanges

Can be made during Uniform Shop trading hours:

Wednesday 8.45 am till 10 am
Friday 8.45am till 10 am

During school term only. Please be patient with volunteers if we are few minutes late. We are likely trying to park or walk our own children to class.

UNIFORM SHOP RETURNS POLICY

Updated Exchange & Return Policy:

Faulty bags, hats or uniforms: In the rare event that a uniform item has a manufacturing fault, please return the item to the school office or uniform shop along with a completed ‘faulty uniform’ form (available on our website) for inspection by Uniform Shop volunteers. Many of our uniform items are covered by warranties and can be easily replaced or refunded. Please email us on hnpsuniforms@gmail.com if you have any questions. School office staff are not able to issue refunds or replace uniforms.

General wear and tear or accidental damage are not considered manufacturing faults. Refunds and exchanges are for new items purchased directly from the P&C Uniform Shop only (i.e. does not include items acquired second hand or via other sources).

At the request of our families, the Hornsby North P&C has provided a returns policy beyond the rights provided under the Australian Consumer Guarantee (AGC).

Change of mind exchange – wrong size: Uniform items may be exchanged for the same item in another size within 30 days. Please see below note for additional information. Kindergarten families purchasing uniforms during orientation are able to exchange until week 2 of term 1 the year their child starts kindergarten.

Change of mind returns – wrong item: Uniform items when purchased via our online store only may be returned for a refund within 14 days. Please see below note for additional information. Items purchased via the inshore point of sale may not be refunded.

Important note in relation to returns and exchanges for both change of mind and wrong size: In order to access these additional benefits, we require a completed ‘exchange form’ (available on our website) including the invoice number. Items must be in original, unworn condition with all tags and packaging. Items must not be laundered. We request that families have children try uniforms on with tags attached before washing items. We request families do not throw away packaging until their child has tried on the uniform.

We will not be able to assist with any returns or exchanges that do not meet these criteria.

Hats, girls tights, socks and hair items: May not be returned or exchanged due to hygiene/health issues unless faulty.

Back-to-School Vouchers: We are not able to refund items that were purchased in 2023 with Back-to-School Vouchers. We are able to exchange items or provide a Uniform Shop credit note.
